I’m a Southern fried follower of Jesus, writer, researcher, and digger into things most churches won’t talk about. I’m interested in what Scripture actually says, what Jesus taught vs what men say, and the rich history of the faith in the American South.

I earned my degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1996 studying religious history & anthropology. I’ve been studying the bible, history and spiritual pathways ever since.
